Okay, the Chattacon XXIV (1999) photos are finally online, along with a couple of bonus photos from 1998 and even one from 1997. Unfortunately, the third roll of film (shot Saturday night after the consuite party got started) did not turn out; the whole roll was blank, due to a camera malfunction. This roll featured, among other models, Dawn Marie in her white bikini outfit, Minx in her "Catholic schoolgirl" outfit, Dyani (again) with me and with Commander Bond, Kelley in her stunning red vinyl outfit, the very secure Mab, Wraithchyld, Baby Jane, and more. For those models from this roll who will be at Chattacon XXV, I would like to reshoot as much of that roll as possible at that time; just remind me that you're a "Roll 3 Model".

If I photographed you and you want a copy of the photo(s), there are a couple of options. The film was developed straight to CD, with each photo stored both as a standard JPEG (600x400, about 60-80K) and as a high-resolution JPEG (about 1500x1024, closer to 500-700K). In addition, I naturally have the negatives...but at this time, I do not have any actual "prints" as commonly understood. Thus, while I'd be happy to email you a copy of the high-resolution image of your photo, the best I could easily do where hardcopy is concerned would be a high-quality color printout (720 dpi). Naturally, if I got enough requests for prints, I could get a set made...but I prefer net-based distribution simply because it's easier all the way around. Quicker turnaround, less expense...all of these are good things.

By the same token, I also have close to three rolls of photos from Chattacon XXIII (1998) that I could scan and post in addition to the few photos from that set which are already online, but I do not think it would be ethical to do so. The simple fact is that I didn't record badge names or get posting permission in 1998, and I can't really justify posting the photos without them. Yes, some of the models would probably consent - but for me to post those photos without explicit consent (which I did get on the few 1998 photos which are up) just wouldn't be right. However, if you did pose for me in 1998 and would like for me to post the photos here, just email me with your consent. (In particular, I have a couple of pictures of Amy - rather similar to the photos printed in Con-Tour's Chattacon 1998 review. Those photos would be great complements to this year's shots, at the very least.) Since I now have a scanner, getting these online would be rather easy.

By the way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the folks at Ritz Camera and Video for developing and scanning the film. They did an excellent job overall, even considering the couple of upside-down shots.
