The soul that sinnenth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20)

The only way to escape;
The Law was given to expose the true condition of our hearts, It shuts every mouth from justifying itself, and brings all guilty of offending a Holy GOD, and deserving HELL

The above was written in a flyer that was handed to a friend of mine at a casual business luncheon as he was sitting down, about to eat. The man that handed the flyer walked up to where we were and said, "I see that is a Led Zepplin T-shirt that you have. You know that rock and roll is of the devil. Here read this." And then walked away. The man was wearing cowboy boots, blue jeans, a black T-shirt. He also had a beard that hung half way down his chest. (It looked like one of the guys from the group ZZ-Top.)
Now my friend just listened to him and took the flyer and sat down while the man walked away. Some of others at the table also read the flyer, and we all laughed at it.
But the more I thought about it the more it PISSED ME OFF!!!!
I guess not only moral but also common sense is something that is out of date.
It was damn rude of that man to do that. Why can't those people be decent enough to either wait until the person is done eating or wait at the door for them. Do they really think that we come to a restaurant to hear their dribble? Or even care what they think or believe? If we had wanted to hear any kind of dribble we would have sat down with him and his group of churchians. (Churchians is a new word for christians that are not christians. They are the people who got to church and worship the church and the preacher and not Christ or God. They do EVERYTHING in the churches name. Not the religion.)
Now lets see what was written in the flyer that ... Hmmm. is wrong. Shall we?
What is a "Born-again Christian"? Someone who fell from the graces of god. Hmm.. To read different religious books and some history all of man kind has in one way fell from god. How many times have you either read in the newspaper or seen on the TV news of different religious groups getting into trouble with the law? Preachers molesting young children. Or someone that was considered to be a God fearing person murdering someone? How many people do you know go to church Sunday night and be drunk by Monday morning? Hmmm... How many will admit it to themselves or to their God? There is no such thing as a person without a sin. Even me. I am not without sin. I have even had some say to my family that I am a pagan. A term that I refuse to accept due to the fact that I know what it means. The word PAGAN means to be lacking in spiritual or moral value, I am lacking in neither! I would dare to say though that the very people who use this offensive word against those of us with enough free will to not fall into their sick, sadistic, pseudo-religious CULT (Yes, I am talking about christianity here) are the true pagans.

Hmm. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Yes, do hold the sabbath day in high respect. They are only supposed to rest and go to church. Not play bingo. How many churches do you know play bingo (a form of gambling)? Hmm.. And shall we get into the great amount of sports fans that are supposed to be righteous and holy?

OK. This is the part where the sinners will be damned. But hasn't a "born again Christian" sinned in the first place? Just because they asked their god for forgiveness does that mean that he did forgive him? Some preachers say yes. "As soon as you ask God to forgive you he does." That is what I was told by a Christian minister. So does that mean a murderer facing the electric chair gets into the chair and when they are about to pull the switch he says, "God forgive me." Then all is fine and dandy and that man will go to heaven? And never have to pay for his crimes?
The only way to escape;

In the Christian belief the only way to excape Hell, was to be God fearing and to do no wrong in the first place.

What does getting baptized have to with being a born again christian? Especially if they used the local river or creek? If that preacher blesses the water, does it mean that the whole river is now holy water? Speaking of the local water system. Would you really want to get into water that is so nasty you can't see three inches into it?
And what does mature Born-again Christians have to do with anything. What makes a person mature? Is it how he or she handles everyday life? Or is it because he or she is over the age of twenty-one? Does them being a leader in a religious group make them mature?
In closing I would like to say that all in all this whole ordeal was not only meaningless but also created the feeling that this man really didn't care whether we believed or not, he was just wasting paper. Had he really wanted to convert us he should have had the good sense to strike up a conversation about his "religion" with us. Most of the people at the table have read the bible and we have all laughed at it for the complete drivel that it is. All he did was give me a reason to write this article (for which I thank him, I think) and supply my associates and I with a good laugh at his expense. Well, I guess that's why churchians have to brainwash their young into the cult, because they are not capable of convincing intelligent adults that their "religion" has any merit.
