Hate crimes. Here's how it works:
White Male 1 and White Male 2 beat up a couple of black females. White Male 1 does it because he's on dope and wants her wallet or whatever. White Male 2 does it because he's a KKK member and he hates women especially ones wearing christian crosses not to mention she looks like a dyke.
Which one gets the longer jail time?
Well, the women are equally beaten. The same crimes, assault and robbery, were committed. Therefore, the two guys oughtta get the same sentence, right?
Wrong.
White Male 2 gets a longer, longer sentence. Why? Cause he did nae commit mere assault. He committed a Hate Crime.
(Hate Crime. Not only is it a euphemism, it's a ridiculous one. How many muggings and church burnings are done out of love?)
Because he is a racist, he gets a longer sentence. That's a hate crime. Mug someone cause you're hungry and you're okay. Do it and then let the cops find a copy of Mein Kampf on ye and you're dead.
That's right. Good liberal love children get lighter sentences than the Montana Freemen.

Like myself, Ruling Government Republicrats feel that racism is disgustng, sexism is abhorrent, Nazism is a bad, bad thing.
Unlike myself, however, they feel the need to seek legal retribution against those wi wrong worldviews. The way I see it, a beating is a beating. The motives are irrelevant. Same crime, same time.
I dinnae care why someone robs me. I just want them punished.
Yeah, yeah, it's terrible. The fascists are no longer stocking up on rifles; they're using them. The flat earthers are striking out. They need tae be stopped.
But ye can no more delegate special sentences to someone for his awful views than ye can imprison him for having those views in the first place. If ye want tae live in a free country, guys, all people must be allowed to have their little beliefs - even the gay bashing, KKK redneck loud white males.
It's the price ay freedom. And altering jail time cause ay the defendant's beliefs - that comes dangerously close to the thought police.
